Job Summary
Solar EPC Development Ltd. is seeking an experienced and motivated Site Engineer with a strong background in solar power projects. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience working on at least 5MW cumulative capacity of solar PV installations and hold a Diploma in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Civil preferred). This role is critical to the successful execution and on-site supervision of utility-scale and industrial solar power projects across the country.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage day-to-day operations at project sites ensuring all works are executed accordingto design, Gantt Chart and Safety Standards.
- Coordinate with Vendors, subcontractors, and the internal project management team to ensure timelyproject progress.
- Supervise the installation of solar panels, inverters, transformers, structures, cabling, and other projectcomponents.
- Conduct site inspections, prepare progress reports, and escalate issues to the Project OperationManager.
- Monitor site safety, quality assurance, and ensure adherence to project technical specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of site activities, materials, and manpower.
- Troubleshoot and coordination with Operation Manager and design engineers.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, vendors, and all relevant stakeholders during theimplementation phase
Requirements
- Educational Qualification: Diploma in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Civil).
- Experience: Minimum 5MW cumulative experience in solar EPC project execution (rooftop or ground-mounted).
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of solar power plant components and construction processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and SLDs.
- Familiar with solar testing tools and site safety equipment.
- Familiar with Gantt Chart.
