Ananta Garments to expand 2 new rooftop solar projects with Solar EPC

Ananta Companies’ green energy journey continues. Following the successful inauguration of a 425.7 KWp rooftop solar project at Ananta Garments Ltd. in February 2023, developed by Solar EPC Development Ltd., the leading apparel factory is expanding its renewable energy initiatives. Ananta Garments will implement two more rooftop solar projects: a 321.78 KWp project at ABM Fashion Ltd. and a 106.64 KWp project at Ananta Sportswear Ltd. Both solar projects are expected to generate 446.7 MWh and 148.37 MWh of clean energy annually, resulting in 595.07 savings on grid electricity consumption and a reduction of 6955.3 tons of carbon emissions annually. The project will also save 51469.22 barrels of crude oil (approximately) burning annually, equivalent to planting 9936 (approximately) trees. The commissioning of these solar projects is a significant milestone for Ananta Garments Ltd. and a testament to the company’s commitment to sustainability and reducing its carbon footprint.
